Women’s History Month:
“Her Majesty” Performance Dazzles The Spellman Community

Saturday, March 2 saw standing room only for members and friends who enjoyed local actress Sheryl Faye portray the life and story of Queen Elizabeth II.

This multimedia performance was set within the museum’s main exhibit gallery and was supported by several frames highlighting the Queen’s long and storied history of philately.

On Saturday, October 7, 2023 the museum hosted Sheryl Faye’s performance of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. This engaging and memorable one-woman show shared the life, times and successes of RBG and her impact on American history.

This event was timed with the USPS release of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Forever postage stamp. Stop by to see our Women on Stamps themed frames that were created to coordinate with this incredible presentation.

August Adventure Day

Thanks to the Highland Street Foundation, the Spellman was included in their small museum feature in August 2023. It was a fun and memorable day, with our partners from Noble Spirit lending their expertise in an “Antiques Roadshow” style format, assessing visitors’ stamps and coins!
